Preparing a property for its handover clean

Before the clean, check that the property will be accessible and the work has been agreed. This checklist helps you organise the handover preparations.

Belongings and other work

Let us know when belongings will be removed and whether trades or removals will still be working. Empty rooms are usually easier to access and clean.

The cleaning list

Share any inventory or agent notes and identify the rooms needing attention. Confirm which appliances and carpeted areas are included in the quote.

Keys and dates

Agree how the cleaner will get access and confirm the handover deadline. Tell us about changes as soon as possible so the arrangements can be discussed.

Can I send photographs before booking?

Yes. Photographs of the rooms and areas needing attention help us understand the property condition.

Can a clean include the oven and other appliances?

Yes. Tell us which kitchen appliances you want included in the quote.

Does cleaning guarantee a deposit return?

No. We can agree the cleaning work, but cannot guarantee a deposit decision.
